RECIPE: Gluten Free Italian Seasoned Croutons

Use Italian Seasoned Croutons to make  Savory Mediterranean Snack Mix

Sometimes we want our snacks to be savory and salty instead of sweet.   This recipe provides a wonderful healthy treat for those times when you need a little something after a workout or when you’re on the go.
12 oz bag of Gluten Free Things Plain Croutons.
Spicy Bruschetta 1/3 cup
Light non-flavored oil like grape seed, canola or sunflower oil – 1/8 cup
Course sea salt 1TB
Sundried tomatoes – minced – 1/4 cup
Dried oregano 1-1/2TB
Preheat oven to 180 F
Empty 12 ounce bag of croutons in a large bowl.   Add bruschetta and distribute evenly among croutons until well mixed and coated.
Drizzle 1/8 cup of light olive oil over all croutons and mix croutons well.
Spray a large cookie sheet with a light oil.  Add the bruschetta seasoned crouton mix.   Drizzle with the 1/8 cup light oil.   Sprinkle dried oregano and sea salt over mixture.
Bake 1 hr on low oven temp around 180 F.   Use a spatula to mix the croutons – turning and spreading out again.  Return to oven for another 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool mixture.
Yield: 3 cups
