These tasty bread based bits are being consumed by a growing gluten free conscious crowd.

Not only are our tasty gluten free croutons being shared and enjoyed as crunchy delicious toppings on salads and soups, but they are also distributed en masse to churches opting to serve up a slight variation of gluten free croutons now popularly known as “communion bits”.

Now our gluten free croutons are evolving into yet another edible treat as we venture down the path of crouton based snack mixes. Croutons make a fabulous base for fun, flavored mixtures. We’re sharing a couple of our favorite crouton snack recipes below, but we’d also like to broaden the scope of possibilities for delicious gluten free crouton snacks.
INTRODUCING OUR OWN GLUTEN FREE CROUTON FLAVORED SNACK RECIPES
We’ve been dreaming up a couple of crouton infused snack mixes we’d love to share.  Here’s one you can make easily at home. Its a sugar-free nutritious snack the whole family will enjoy. Use our Gluten Free Things brand croutons for best results.

Gluten Free Crouton Snack Mix Mediterranean Savory Seasoned Snack Mix

2 cups Gluten Free Things 
Italian Seasoned Croutons (Recipe Below)
1/2 cup organic Pumpkin Seeds
1/2 cup roasted Chickpeas (Recipe)
1 oz Raisins
1/4 tsp dried finely minced Rosemary
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
Mix together all of the above ingredients for a delicious and healthy snack mix.

This next crouton recipe produces a “Chicken in a Bisquit” flavoring that makes an incredibly delicious crouton snack.  
Jessies Herb Infused Crouton Snacks
2 cups Gluten Free Things Plain Croutons
1/4 cup dried parsley
4 tsp dried dill weed
4 tsp onion powder
4 tsp dried onion flakes
4 tsp sea salt
4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground pepper (or red pepper flakes depending on your taste tolerance for spicy flavors).
Combine above ingredients in a blender or spice grinder.  Whizz up until finely ground.
